Saw the view.

8/20/2007 : HAPPY BIRTHDAY!

Saw one hell of a sunset and then we went to dinner for my birthday.

8/23/2007 : Boat Trip to Lanai and luau

Accompanied by appropriate sunset pictures.

The luau was nice and the food was fantastic, but I don't have any pictures of the actual event. Just us enjoying ourselves.

8/24/2007 : A little sidetrip for History

Took a little sidetrip to Oahu. Pearl Harbor and the associated memorial was quite moving.

FULL SPEED AHEAD! (Aye Aye Captain!)

Got a nice look at the beach at Waikiki. Didn't have time to go in though.

My cousins saw a ceremony at sundown. A runner came up to the cliffs, lit some torches, sacrificed a lei and then dove off the cliffs. Amazing sunset. The ceremony didn't do anything for me though. The dive off wasn't very high... I tried it once.

8/25/2007 : Surf's up.

Last day there so we might as well make the most of it. I learned to surf! Yes, they were really tiny waves, but that wasn't by choice.
